This is a quote from a devotional Sister Ann M. Madsen (the wife of the late Truman G. Madsen) gave earlier this semester at BYU-I:
"Metabolize hurt through charity. Do you know how that works? ... When someone hurts you, you look at them through the eyes of God and say 'I love you. You are a child of Heavenly Father. Whatever you've done to hurt me is just a mistake. You have more inside of you than that mistake, and so I can forget that.'"
I just love how she said that!!! Amazing!!! :D

Wow, that is powerful. "You have more inside of you than that mistake..." Isn't that what we all want to hear when we mess up? To be loved and understood. I love the influence of the atonement.
